Salauddin Ahmed, Chairman & Managing Director, S.A Paribahan

Salauddin Ahmed, Chairman & Managing Director, S.A Paribahan

“S.A. Paribahan” is an unparallel one in the Courier & Parcel Service sector of the country. Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed is the Chairman and Managing Director of this organisation. He hails from Noakhali. S.A Paribahan introduced Courier and Parcel Service in the country and they are the pioneer of this sector as of today too.  After getting approval as a provider of Courier and Parcel Service provider form the government in 1982, this organization has been rendering services with efficiency and good reputation. S.A Paribahan is always committed to carry the, documents and parcel with nice care to its valued clients through the branches across the country in due time. Regarding this the authority of S.A Paribahan says “We always want to render our quality services to the valued clients with credibility”. We want to earn trust, sincerity and above all the love of our clients and it is our believe that this organization has been able to achieve it as all the people irrespective of caste and creed could rely on us so easily without any hesitation. So people only understand S.A Paribahan as their Courier and Parcel Service provider. It has been proved in many ways that S.A Paribahan earned enormous popularity by providing services to the people throughout the country. With a view to deliver better services gaining faithfulness and better management the authority had to open over one hundred branches in different places of the country. In near future they will have to open more branches. They operate business activities through their own management system in order to provide better customer services. They do not open any agency for this but thousands of people approach with application for opening agency. Obviously this is a sign of our well managed activities, proper client service and also a reflection of the dependency and love of our valued clients.

Apart from this, they book the belongings of the clients under conditions in a bid to repay money against of the goods. It means a businessman of Dinajpur could have products from a businessman of Dhaka by paying the prices of the product. The wholesaler of Dhaka book S.A Paribahan under conditions and ask them to bring the money from the businessman of Dinajpur. In that respect the authority of S.A Paribahan only takes the transportation charge of the goods and collect the money of the goods from the businessman of Dinajpur and give it to the wholesaler of Dhaka. The authority of S.A Paribahan takes delivery charges in a specific received book from which they also pay the taxes to the government. By following this system both the party could be mutually benefited and also save time, transport cost and the risk of carrying cash money. In this regard, the authority of this organization says, “few vested quarters feel envy of our success and they spread propaganda against our activities. Regarding this, we want to say categorically that we do no not receive money secretly. We only carry money of the clients under few conditions and handover it to the customer through proper documents. It cannot be called a bill of exchange (Hundy). They only do this with a view to undermine our business. The above-mentioned system is in vogue since British regime but with the passage of time and in the era of science and Technology to an overall change has been brought in this service. S.A Paribahan is not beyond this. It has updated its service activities so that the customers could get the latest and modern services from this reputed organization.

S.A Paribahan incepted its activities with a dream, vision and mission of its long-term plan. This dream has been translated into reality due to the hard labour, merit and honesty of Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed, the managing director of this organization and following the footsteps of him many entrepreneurs of the country have introduced such type of business elsewhere in the country. From that point of view Mr. Salahuddin is a dreamer or visionary in the field of transport, parcel and courier services. Although S.A Parabahan launched its activities to a small scale in 1982 but as of today, it has turned into the largest organization of this sector. Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed is not only the steersman of this organization but also he is involved with supplying food of animals and at the same time a successful govt. contractor. He is the owner of S.A. Channel Pvt. Ltd., S.R.S. Gas Company Ltd. and the publisher of Bengali Daily The Janapad. Apart from this, he is involved with many social welfare activities. He is a governing body member of Uttara Town College. Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed is also the Chairman of the Managing Committee of Jayag Degree College, Noakhali and the founder of Amirabad Rehaneddin Mollah Orphanage and Madrasha. He is te publisher of a Bengali daily ‘The Janapad’. An honourable member of FBCCI and The President of Bangladesh Parcel Service Owners Association Mr. Salahuddin Ahmed wants to contribute more for the wellbeing of this country. Alongside business, Mr. Salauddin Ahmed is contributing enormously by attaching himself with many social development programs and for this he has been venerated by many socio-cultural organizations several times. Mr. Salauddin also visited many countries of the world in connection with his business and personal purposes also.
