Mr. Enamul Haque, an experienced and skilled personality in Lease Financing, is the Managing Director & CEO of First Lease Finance & Investment Ltd. He comes of a respectable Muslim family in Golapgonj of Sylhet district and was born on January 1, 1949. He obtained his B.Sc. degree from M.C. College, Sylhet in 1969. After completing his education, he started his career as a B.Sc. Teacher in Dhaka Dakshin High School. During post Liberation period, he worked for sometime in United Nations Relief Operations in Bangladesh (UNROB), Eventually he changed his field of work. In 1973, he joined Uttara Bank as a probationary officer after successfully going through the Banker’s Recruitment Examination conducted by Bangladesh Bank. He performed the responsibility of Branch Manager for 17 years during his 22 year long career in this bank. The branches are- Beani Bazar Branch, Sunamgonj Branch, Laldhigirpar Branch, Sylhet Branch, Kalabagan Branch, Dhaka and Dhaka Sheraton Hotel Branch. In addition, he also performed the responsibilities as the chief of Sylhet region.

At this stage, Mr. Haque joined South-East Bank Ltd., one of the prominent public sector banks, as Vice President (VP) and accepted the responsibility of credit section after resigning from the job in Uttara Bank. He performed the responsibility for eight years in Credit department in this Bank. He went to USA when he was the Executive Vice President (EVP). He resigned from the job of this Bank when he obtained “Immigrant Resident ship” of USA. But after seven months he returned to Bangladesh and accepted the responsibility of First Lease Finance & Investment Ltd. as Chief Executive Officer on 9 April, 2006.

In fact, First Lease finance & Investment Ltd. inaugurated in July in 1993 and its business growth is tremendous. It has been possible for wise and prudent leadership of Mr. Haque. He with his experience and skill is making it go forward. The Head Office of First Lease Finance & Investment Ltd. is located 10 Jahangir Tower at Karwan Bazar, Dhaka, and branch office at S.S. Tower, Sk. Mujib Road at Chittagong. Though it started its loan distribution in 2002 with Tk. 159.92 Million, its amount rose to Tk. 709.38 Million in 2006. Now it stands at 1750 million with equity of Tk. 570 million and earned profit of the 142.57 million. From this, it is easily understood that First Lease Finance & Investment Ltd. has succeeded advancing its business success.
