Bangla’s free landlord Ishaa Khan and with his tradition, land of folk literature Sonargaon and her famous son a valiant freedom fighter, a renowned industrialist, Film Producer and also a politician, Ahasanullah Moni was born in a respectable muslim family in 1949 at a village parabo of Sonargaon Upazila, a few kilometer off from the capital city Dhaka. A worthy son of Mr. Sharafatullah and Arjuda Begum Mr. Ahasanullah possess versatile qualities as a leading business personality and also very well known one in our cultural arena who fought as a valiant freedom fighter against the occupation forces in a bid to free this land from the claws of the then Pakistani dictators. Mr. Moni is also proud father of a son and a daughter. After completion of graduation from Govt. Jagannath College in 1972, he started to rebuild this war ravaged land in many ways. As he was involved in student politics since 1966 he played an active role in the movement of ’69 and ’70. Later on in 1971, he took part in the Liberation War under Bengal Liberation Force (BLF). He is a believer of the ideology of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheik Mujibur Rahman. His political “Gurus” (guardians) are both “Bangabandhu Sheik Mujib and Sheik Fazlul Haque Moni”
Mr. Ahasanullah Moni involved himself with the business of Film Industry since 1966 and so far he produced 20 to 25 films approximately in which Mayar Bhadan, Sohagh, Alingon, Jal Thekey Jala, Mayurpankhi are mentionable. At Present he has made a film based on our Great Liberation war ‘Pakistan Bhenghey Bangladesh (Pakistan Break to Bangladesh) which to be released soon. Apart from this he has also made three movies namely Bangabandhur Shadharan Khoma (General Amnesty of Bangabandhu), Jatir pita Hattaya (Killing of the Father of the Nation) and ‘Bibaha’ (Marriage) by investing Tk. 600 crores. A proprietor of Hotel Razmoni Isha Kha, Razmoni Cinema, Razia Cinema, Dhaka and Razmoni Film City which situated at Parabo, Sonargaon of Narayangonj. Mr. Ahasanullah Moni has started to build the Tajmahal of Bengal at Sonargaon in 2004 which construction works are almost complete. It has been made here in Bangladesh in a bid to the demand of the common people who don’t have opportunity to go India for visiting the Great Tajmahal of Agra. Tk. 50 will be the entry fee of Tajmahal of Bengal. The under construction works of Mr. Moni are Pyramid of Egypt, Ifel Tower, Great Wall, Golden Statue of Bangladesh which are being made under Razmoni Film City at the cost of Tk. four hundred crore. Golden Stalin of Bangladesh will be made to commemorate the Fifteen thousand valiant soldiers of India who sacrificed their lives in our Liberation War. “We all shall have to speak the truth of Independence. If you do this, the country will develop, said Mr. Moni. As the true history of Independence has been distorted seriously, the pro-independence forces should come up in a concerted way with a view to uphold the actual history before the new generation, the valiant Freedom Fighter said adding “Nobody will be able to depart with honor unless they pay due honor to the Great Leader Bangabandhu Sheik Mujib. Even many of such people had to leave this world without having minimum respect in the past. Only “Bangabandhu, Liberation War and Bangladesh” these three will survive and the rest will not long last”.
