Entertainment Desk: Popular play director Chayanika Chowdhury has done a challenging job in media. She has brought back popular TV actress and model Tinni to acting again. Tinni promised to return in acting and she kept her promise. She has returned by play “Ei Maya,” which was directed by Chayanika Chowdhury with the script written by popular TV actor Shahriar Nazim Joy. In this play, Tinni has performed against Apurbo. Shooting of this play began on January 3 at UTC Building in Karwanbazar in the city.
It may be mentioned that before starting acting in media Tinni and Apurbo were close friend. They firstly worked together in play Chhoker Baire, directed by Faruk Srabon. It was aired on NTV in 2005. Later they worked together in plays Swapn-er Nil Pori and Bhalobashar Shuru. Chayanika Chowdhury gave direction of those plays. Three years ago, they lastly performed together in Chayanika directed plays Sayanhey, Chokshe Aamar Trishna and Aloker Ei Jhornadhara.
While shearing his feelings to work with Tinni Apurbo told this correspondent, “I can say that Tinni has real starism till now in media. Therefore, Tinni is my close friend. Although we had worked together in less number of plays, but those were attracted by the viewers positively. I believe that this play will also be accepted by the viewers.”
On the other hand, Tinni told this correspondent, “Real heroism is still remains in Apurbo. Viewers always like his heroism. Therefore, he is a good actor. It’s really impress me that I have returned by this play to perform against him. I am grateful to Chayanikadi to give me the opportunity to cast me in her play. I want to be regular in TV play now.”
Chayanika sheared her feelings by this way, “It’s really happened that I have started work of my new play in the beginning of a new year. Apurbo cooperated me to give his schedule for this play. In the meantime, Tinni also gave me schedule. I am also grateful to her.”
Sharmily Ahmed, Kumkum Hasan, Miss Bangladesh Moon have also performed in other roles in this play. It will go on air in any satellite channel, said director Chayanika.
