RN Desk: National film award winning singer Samina Chowdhury’s 15th solo album titled ‘Cholo Banchi,’ which was released under the banner of Laser Vision in Eid-ul-Azha, became popular among the music listeners.
With the lyrics written by Zulfiqar Russell tunes and music of the all the tracks of the album were composed by Naquib Khan, Pilu Khan, Joy Sarkar, Rupankar Bagchi, Indrajit Dey and Tomal Chakraborty.
In fact, outstanding rendering style of Samina Chowdhury made the album superb. With the success of her 15th solo album she became inspired to release another three new albums to her fans and music-listeners.
On Valentine’s Day 2014, Samina Chowdhury will release an album titled ‘Pushpo Brishti’ under the lyrics and music composition by Md Abdul Bari.
There will be 10 tracks in this album. Of those songs, in a duet track Bappa Mazumder will give his vocal along with Samina.
Therefore, for the first time Samina is working to release another album based on Tagore and Nazrul songs. There will be also 10 tracks in the album. Bappa Mazumder and Ibrar Tipu are working with her in this regard.
However, Samina Chowdhury is also taking preparation to release a remake album, which will be based on her popular songs, to keep requests from the audience.
While talking in this regard Samina Chowdhury told this correspondent, “I am a simple person. I feel comfortable to talk simply. I am grateful to my audience that they have easily accepted my recently released album. To keep their requests, I am going to present them three new albums. Everybody pray for me for my success.”
It may be mentioned that Samina Chowdhury debuted her majestic playback career by giving her vocal for the playback track for Amzad Hossain directed movie “Jonmo Theke Jolchhi” under the music direction of Alauddin Ali.
Her first solo album titled “Shoishob-er Dinguli” was released under the banner of Sargam in 1987.
