PBL organizes orientation course

Staff Correspondent: Pubali Bank Limited organised an orientation course for its newly recruited officers at the auditorium of bank’s training institute in the city recently.

Helal Ahmed Chow- dhury, managing director of Pubali Bank inaugurated the ceremony as chief guest while additional managing director M A Halim Chowdhury and deputy managing director Mahbub Mustafizur Rahman were present as special guests, said a press release.

The orientation course was designed aiming at familiarising the participants with the concepts, principles, rules, regulations, laws and practices of bank.

Helal Ahmed Chow- dhury urged everyone to work sincerely and honestly. He advised everyone to equip themselves with diversified banking knowledge to cope with present competitive global market.

“One could become a successful banker by exploring skills and talents at the highest level through applying themselves properly,” he added.

Among others, AMD M A Halim Chowdhury, DMD Mahbub Mustafizur, general manager of HRD Syed Aziz Ahmed, principal of the Pubali Bank training institute Badrudin Ahmed, GMs of head office and senior executives of the bank were also present on the occasion.
