Police have recovered the body of a student named Mou Dutta (22) from a private nursing college hostel in Madaripur.
The body of the student was recovered from the hostel of DWF Nursing College in the city’s Iterpool area on Tuesday (August 6) around 12 noon. Mou was the daughter of Ajit Dutta of Katadia area of Barisal Sadar upazila and a first year student of the Diploma Group of Nursing College here.
According to police, there were three people living in the 30th room of the college hostel. In the morning two students named Shabnur and Jhumku left the classroom. As Maui did not go to class, the classmates came to the room to call her and found her dead. Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Madaripur Sadar Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sowgatul Alam said they were working to uncover the mystery of the murder. Mou is believed to have caused the incident by failing in love.
