Mr. NSM Faruque is a very well experienced and dynamic business personality in the Telecom sector. Born on January 10, 1962, Mr. Faruque’s father’s is Md. Sirajul Islam. After completion of his M. Com (Management), he immediately ventured into Business as a career and became involved in the Telecommunications sector from 1997. During the past thirteen years Mr. Faruque has made tremendous success in his business and currently he is discharging his duties as the Managing Director of Integra Group, where he is responsible for the day to day operations of the Group.

Integra Group is a Joint Venture Group of Companies with Malaysian and Bangladeshi interests and comprise of Integra International Ltd, Integra Communications Ltd, Integra Interiors Ltd and Arrowhead Properties Ltd. The Joint Venture started in 1997 with the advent of mobile telephony in Bangladesh and is currently mainly involved in the R&D, manufacturing, importation, distribution and servicing of mobile phones in the country. Since inception, each of the Companies has been taking immense part in the development of its staff and infrastructure, as well as economic development of the country.

Integra started in the Telecoms sector by distributing SIM cards and reloads right from the beginning of mobile telephony, and was appointed as an authorized Distributor by all the Mobile Operators including Grameenphone, Aktel, Sheba, (later Banglalink) and Citycell and was the No. 1 Distributor for all the four Operators concurrently for 4 straight years from 2001 to 2004. Integra also opened the first exclusive mobile phone shops in Bangladesh in March 1997, both in the capital city, one in Dhanmondi and one in Gulshan. This later mushroomed into two chain of shops called Intecom Shoppe and Mobile Mart.

Integra in 1998 was officially appointed as the sole authorized Distributor for Motorola of USA, which was at that time the No. l mobile manufacturer in the world. Together with: Motorola and their innovative products, a good and loyal network of Dealers and Retailers were developed all over the country. Soon Integra was also appointed the sole Distributor of Alcatel of France, Bosch of Germany, TCL of China, Ben Q of Taiwan and later, i-mobile of Thailand and LG of South Korea.
