Mosharraf asks RAJUK to complete 3rd phase work of Uttara project by 2016 Dec
— November 18, 2015DHAKA: Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain asked the Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) to complete the all development works of third phase of Uttara Residential Area.
He gave the order while visiting Uttara development works yesterday, an official release said.
The minister said the project was taken during the Awami League government in 1999. The works of the project have not been completed in the last 16 years, he added.
He said the people are waiting years after years after allocation of plots or flats.
So, specific timeframe should be fixed to finish the work, he added.
Housing and Public Work Secretary Mohammad Moinuddin Abdullah, RAJUK Chairman GM Joynal Abedin and Chief Engineer of Public Works Department Kabir Ahmed Bhuiyan were present on the occasion, among others.
