He was a research fellow at the University of Stockholm and completed senior level courses in financial services such as CSC, CIFC & LLGP in Canada. He has worked few years in Canadian Financial Institutions.
Under his prudent and dynamic leadership, Fidelity Assets & Securities Company Ltd. a Third Generation Non- Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) has marked spectacular growth. The company intends to turn it into a mulit-product financial institution and intends to invest in the following areas: ICT sector, Textile Industry garment / knitwear sector, Food & Beverage, Health Care Hospital & Diagnostic Center, Ceramic Industry. He is also the Chairman of the finance Committee of International Business Forum of Bangladesh (IBFB). He was a member of the executive committee of FICCI from 1991-1995, a Director of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry. Mr. Kabir represented Bangladesh in various meeting at TUO, UK, INTUC, India, AUCCTU, USSR, ZENTAL, Japan and ICFU, Belgium.
