Mohammad Abu Tayab, Chairman of T.K. Group of Industries, is a prominent industrialist in Bangladesh started business in commodity trading in 1976 from where he gradually started his own edible oil refinery plant Tk Oil Refinery in Kalurghat, Chittagong in 1981. He is the eldest son of Late Al-haj Mir Ahmed Sowdagar, born in 1965 in village & PO: Mansha, Patiya, Chittagong.
