The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has organized a 2-day long workshop on ‘VAT Compliances: Role of CMAs’.
The inauguration Ceremony took place today at the ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium in the city, said a press release.
Dr Md Hamid Ullah Bhuiyan, Chairman, Financial Reporting Council (FRC), Bangladesh was present as the Session Chairman at the first technical session on ‘VAT and VAT Accounting ‘.
ICMAB President Md Mamunur Rashid FCMA presided over the workshop. Past President SAFA and Chairman of ICMAB Seminar and Conference Committee AKM Delwer Hussain FCMA e delivered welcome speech.
ICMAB Vice-President Md Munirul Islam FCMA delivered Vote of Thanks.
Technical paper was presented by Md Ali Haider Chowdhury FCMA, Treasurer, ICMAB while fellow member Mallik Intaqab Ahsan FCMA presented technical paper on ‘VAT and VAT Accounting’ in technical Session.
Md MashiurRahaman ACMA, Joint Commissioner, NBR was present as Commentator.
