RN Desk: The police on Sunday arrested four people and seized several firearms and animal hides and skins in the capital’s Banani area.
The arrestees were identified as Rukhsana, her son Junaied, 28, Afsara, 25, and Tushar, 24.
Banani police officer-in-charge Bhuiyan Mahbub Hossain said that on secret information, the police had arrested Junaied and Afsar early Sunday for another offence.
After interrogating them, the police raided their house and seized three revolvers, 27 bullets, four petrol bombs, an air gun and other firearms. The police also recovered hides of Tiger, deer, bear, crocodile and other animals.
The police said that the arrestees were involved in different types of criminal activities and they also run a carjacking ring in the area.
