Apollo Hospitals gets new CEO

ApoRN Desk:     R Basil has been appointed as the executive director and CEO of STS Holdings Ltd, the owning company of Apollo Hospitals Dhaka, with effect from January 6, says a press release.

He will be based at Dhaka and will hold full charge as the head of healthcare businesses of STS Holdings Ltd. such as Apollo Dhaka, the Chittagong Hospital, the clinics and the planned medical college.

Basil is a post-graduate engineer in Industrial Power Systems from Cochin University of Science & Technology with 33 years of professional management and business leadership experience in various Sectors.

Basil was the Co-Founder & CEO of Lilywhite Health Consortium Pvt Ltd. Prior to this role, he was the Executive President of Apollo Hospitals group, Managing Director & CEO of Manipal Health Systems Pvt. Ltd and Vice-President of Wipro GE Medical Systems.
